Unique & Colorful Savannah Anniversary Photo Session | Starland Yard

I had the privilege of capturing Delsha + Jacob’s gorgeous downtown Savannah elopement last summer and they came back this year wanting unique photos to celebrate their one year anniversary. They wanted something different. “We’ve taken photos downtown and on the beach. Can you think of any other locations?” Once Delsha asked me this, I was SO excited! Aside from beautiful live oaks and architecture of downtown Savannah, the city also offers other amazing spots for engagement photos - like Starland Yard!

Starland Yard is an area in midtown Savannah, which is about an eight minute drive from downtown. The best way to describe Starland Yard is that it’s a bunch of bars, restaurants and food trucks encapsulated within old shipping containers. It’s very artsy - there’s colorful murals around every corner painted by local SCAD students, ice cream shops with decorated stair cases, and more!

This Savannah couples photography session was filled with laughs and so much love! After a year of marriage, Delsha and Jacob act like they just fell in love.
