Daffin Park & Downtown Savannah Couples Session

There’s something really special about photographing friends! I met Marissa & Chris in downtown Savannah at The Rail Pub - one of Savannah’s oldest and most fun bars. It was an instant friendship! I was ecstatic when Marissa texted me saying her and Chris wanted some couples photos! They’ve been married for five years, but it had been a while since they had some professional photos taken. She said she wanted something edgy and romantic…and this is what we came up with!.

We started the session at Daffin Park, which is a little outside of downtown, more towards the Midtown area. It’s full of amazing live oaks with Spanish moss, incredible ponds with fountains and big grassy fields. This spot is a dream location for a Savannah couples photographer.

We then ventured over to some seriously cool graffiti walls on Bull Street, right by Bull Street Taco. I love how Marissa wore something to show off her amazing tattoos - it really capture the edgy vibe she was going for. The three of us ended the Savannah couples photoshoot on the roof of a parking deck! I always love going up right before sunset. There’s some beautiful views and incredible lighting!
